Anyone tried to draw up a profile based on the descriptions we get?
he obviously has many eyes, and of course those massive teeth as we saw, round, lumpy and has wings... oh and wears Pjs...lol
they need to bring back trapdoor just so we can have some kind of back story about who/what that thing is, and what it does, and Berk's past.. Berk obviously didn't come from the trapdoor.../ trouble with the Berk character we don't know anything about him.
Also thought it was odd that the trapdoor just lead to the swamp outside of the castle.. whats the point?.. lol _________________ Its always the cracked ones that let the light in. |

I think that it is better to never see The Thing Upstairs (I know we saw a very brief glimpse in one ep). Removing the mystery, of Berk and HIM, would ruin the charm. Sometimes you can know and see too much.
If you want more infor on those characters, then why not Boni too - who was he before he died. How did he get to be in the castle. Where's the rest of him.
And Drutt. Where did he come from and why does he stick around? It's not just for the worms/food is it? There seems to be some attachment to Berk.
Then there's Rogg. Why does he keep coming back, and more importantly why does he return to the world beneath the Trapdoor? It's obviously not that bad.
Just enjoy it for what it is, however, I would love to see brand new eps. I wonder who they'd get to voice it this time around though (RIP Willie Rushton). I would hope it would be somebody impersonating Willie than a new voice cast entirely - look what happened to the Wombles :( |

I wanna know how Drutt had babies with its male... and on his own.. lol
I like having back story's.. i like knowing where people come from and what shaped them up to be who they are.. normally its a case if just piecing things together, but you don't get that with Berk..
Sure we can just enjoy it and not ask theses questions but part of the enjoyment it trying to work them out, other wise there wouldn't be much point in having this forum. _________________ Its always the cracked ones that let the light in. |

I don't actually disagree, but I wonder how much of a backstory the original creators actually had for the characters - not a great deal I suspect. It was a five minute cartoon created for kids, by adults that wanted to have a bit of fun and use the word "bonk!" :p
I'd still love to see and hear more Trapdoor, including the making of though. |

| About Drutt...he may be part of a species where the males are the ones that reproduce. Hey, it happens with animals in real life, who's to say it can't happen in the world of The Trap Door? |

he must have meant some sexy monster within the trapdoor.. if anything that story line is the most bazaar in any trapdoor episode. _________________ Its always the cracked ones that let the light in. |

| Cheers Alec and thankyou for your contribution to the Trapdoor forum. I'm not entirely sure why the Admin greeted you so warmly, or gave a link to the new forum site, but if you're welcome there, then I don't want to be - I don't wish to be part of a site where that sort of behaviour is welcomed or even tolerated. |

Hey Ian, I do apologise, I hadn't seen the initial message posted by Alec, I must be blind or something. He won't be welcome on the new board I promise mate. |

What I look like? You don't want to know... if you think I looked repulsive in "The Little Thing" episode (episode 14, Series 1) you have only seen the front end of me... _________________ "BERK, FEED ME!!!" |
